Privacy

Short version: this site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no ads. If you just read it, you hand over almost nothing.

What this site collects

• Server logs. Like every website, the host records your IP address, browser, device and the page you asked for. Used to serve the site and fix faults.
• Analytics, only if you agree. If you say yes, Google Analytics counts which articles get read, roughly which country readers are in, and what device they use. Aggregate numbers, not a profile of you. Say no and it never loads.
• Your email, only if you write to me. Kept to reply, and to keep a record if it leads to a published correction.

That is the whole list. No account system, no comment box, no newsletter signup, no advertising network, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

Your choice about analytics

Analytics only runs if you agree to it. You are asked once, on your first visit, and nothing is sent to Google before you answer — the tracking script is not even downloaded. You can change your mind here at any time.

Saying no clears any Google cookies already set here. A tracker-blocking extension or Google’s own opt-out add-on will also stop it. The site works exactly the same either way.

Web fonts also load from Google, so your browser contacts Google’s servers for those. Blocking third-party fonts is fine; the site stays readable.

Asking me to delete something

If you have emailed me and want that email and your address deleted, ask and it will be done. If you want to know what I hold, ask and I will tell you. One email is enough, there is no form and no charge.

On the DPDP Act

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to see what is held and to have it corrected or erased. This site aims to honour those rights, which in practice means the paragraph above: email me and I will act on it.

Children

This site is written for adults interested in financial markets. It is not aimed at children, and it does no tracking, profiling or advertising directed at anyone.

About the companies covered here

Analysis on this site discusses companies, promoters and directors using information already filed publicly — prospectuses, exchange filings and regulatory orders. Nothing is compiled from private sources.
