About

Every number on this site can be traced to a document.

That is the entire editorial policy. Everything below is how it works in practice.

Who writes this

Investing With Jain Sahab is written by an independent researcher based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The work here is self-directed and self-funded. There is no research desk behind it and no institution paying for it.

I am not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or a Research Analyst. Nothing published here is advice. Where I state what I am personally doing with an issue or a stock, that is a disclosure of my own position, not a recommendation for yours.

The Verification Ledger

Most market commentary blends fact, inference and rumour into a single confident paragraph. This site separates them. Where a claim needs it — a headline figure, a disputed number, a gap in disclosure — it carries one of three labels:

VerifiedTraced to a primary filing, and the filing is named and dated.
ContestedSources disagree, or the company disputes it. Both sides are shown.
Not publishedThe company has not disclosed it. The absence is stated, not filled with a guess.

The third label matters most. When a number is missing from a filing, that is itself information, and it is more useful to say so than to substitute an estimate and present it as fact.

Where the numbers come from

Not every source appears in every piece — an IPO analysis rests on the prospectus and the exchange filings; a forensic teardown reaches further. What is used is named in the article.

Grey market premium is not a source. It is unregulated, unverifiable and easily manipulated, and it is not used here as a reason to reach any conclusion.

The scorecard rule

Any call made on this site gets a published scorecard afterwards, on a stated date, whether the call was right or wrong. Analysis that only records its wins is marketing.

Corrections

Errors get corrected in the body of the article, visibly, with what changed and why. They are not quietly edited out. If you find a factual error, tell me and it will be fixed.

Independence

This site accepts no payment from companies it covers, publishes no sponsored analysis, and has no arrangement with any brokerage, issuer or intermediary. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed at the top of the relevant article before you read a word of it.
